Kind-hearted and friendly, with a great sense of humor, Abdo immediately puts you at ease knowing that he is an experienced adventurer himself. His knowledge about Morocco is expansive and genuine. Being born into a nomadic family from the Sahara Desert, he honors his family's legacy by weaving their history, culture, and traditions into every story he shares. At the age of 12, he began to work with his family herding camels and soon started giving trekking tours to visitors of his village in M’Hamid. He knew at this very young age that he wanted to explore the country, learn more about its history, experience all that it has to offer, and share it with visitors.
His father's gift of an English dictionary, found somewhere deep in the Sahara Desert, sparked Abdo's love for language and learning, and it was this encouragement that inspired him to grasp the language of the world beyond. He began to venture further out into the desert, and eventually into the cities and coastlines. An Adventurer himself, he travelled from Tangier to the Atlas Mountains and the Atlantic beaches to the ancient city of Fes, gaining 10 years’ experience in every aspect of travel and tourism around Morocco. He understands the importance of making his guests comfortable, cared for, and most of all, having a truly unforgettable experience.
